GO TO THE NEW DON'T RUSH TO CRUSH
Dear colleagues,
The Medicines Information Centre is seeking staff feedback regarding the use of two important clinical resources relating to the manipulation of oral dose forms – Don’t Rush to Crush and MIMS Crush. Both contain information intended to assist clinicians navigate scenarios where oral medicines require physical manipulation (i.e. crushing/dissolving, opening of capsules, etc).
THS staff currently have access to both resources until 30th June 2026 through the ePortal for Online Clinical Help (EPOCH). Feedback will help determine ongoing access after this date.
While particularly relevant to pharmacy and nursing, all staff who use these resources are requested to complete the survey hyperlinked below.

This survey will be open until 6:00 pm Wednesday 10th June 2026.
Please direct any queries or concerns to medinfo@ths.tas.gov.au
Who supplies Don't Rush to Crush and where it is accessed has changed.
