1.5 day interactive data linkage workshop hosted by Tasmanian Data Linkage Unit

Description

The data linkage workshops will cover important aspects of designing data linkage projects, including types of datasets available, study design and cohort selection, application and approval processes, research ethics and data management.

Day 2 session presents:

  • Developing a research project (part 1)
  • Research Ethics
  • Approvals
  • Developing a research project (part 2)
  • Pitching workshop

The workshops will conclude with a pitching session. All attendees will be invited to pitch a project to an expert panel, with the opportunity to be awarded an in-kind grant from the TDLU of up to $5,000 to contribute to the design, application, approval, and data linkage process for their project.

The workshops will include afternoon tea on Day 1 and morning tea and lunch on Day 2.
