Before searching for Standards on the i2i SAI Global platform the following is required:
- Requires Installation of Google Chrome Browser - N.B. Microsoft Edge in Internet Explorer Mode, is incompatible with i2i.
1. Registration only has to be performed once.
Copy and paste i2.saiglobal.com or search 'i2i Australian Standards' in the Chrome Browser and click on the New Registration button.
If you are already in the Chrome Browser use this link https://i2.saiglobal.com/
2. Enter your work email address and details and click on the Next button. Asterisk indicates the field is mandatory.
3. In the COMPANY DETAILS tab enter Tasmanian Health Service (THS) Library for both Company
& Business Unit.
Click Complete Registration.
4. You will be sent an email verification.
Check both your Inbox and Junk mail folder.
Follow the link in the email to activate your account.
You can now access online or PDF versions of any of the Standards that we have subscriptions to
by logging in using your THS Department email address and the password.
Subscriptions are limited to two users. If all subscriptions are in use try again later.
Bookmark this page in Chrome Browser and Logout after each use.
How to search Standards Online
There are three main options to search for Department-subscribed (current) and/or non-subscribed (locked) Standards.
Option 1: Search Standards
The default search option that allows searching by document number, title or keyword and the ability to filter.
Option 2: My Subscribed Documents
A browsable list of unlocked Standards in your account, licensed to the Department of Health.
Select My Collection
Option 3: View all my C2V Standards
A browsable list of Australian and international Standards organised by Collection Name.
Standards with an active subscription in the Department have a Current Status and you can choose the View action
Standards with an active subscription in the Department have a Current Status
Standards that are not licensed to the Department can be requested under ORDERS
Department staff who want to access a Standard not licensed to the Department of Health need to purchase the Standard to "unlock" the document.
To unlock a Standard requires:
- Individual user registration and/or login
- Your business unit/area cost centre code for invoicing
- Processing by Library Services, the Standards administrator
Unlocking a Standard

Send an email to library@ths.tas.gov.au with your request. Library Services will contact you via email within one business day to obtain your cost code and arrange order processing and delivery.

Once a standard is unlocked it is available for perpetual access as a Department of Health subscription via the i2iAustralian Standards Online platform.
